Hillcon Piling Equipment taken over by CAPE Holland.
1-3-2009
Beilen / Werkendam – Hillcon Piling Equipment has been taken over by the CAPE Holland Holding, the holding company under which the companies Construction and Piling Equipment (CAPE Holland) and APE Holland are active as well. By this acquisition and the intensive cooperation between the companies, a complete package of supply can be offered for the foundation industry.
CAPE Holland is specialized in sales, rental and service of all sorts of foundation equipment. Next to the rental of hydraulic impact hammers and sales and service of small drill rigs, complete refurbishing and sales of (used) piling rigs is an important activity.
Hillcon Piling Equipment is a manufacturer of hydraulic piling rigs, with integrated leader construction. By taking over Hillcon Piling Equipment, CAPE Holland is reacting to an increasing demand for an alternative for the well known “GLS” concept. The base machine will remain to be the known Hitachi machine. The first base machine is already shipped to The Netherlands, where it will be completed to a complete piling rig. This will be done in the production facilities in Beilen, The Netherlands.
Obviously the service level will remain on a high level. Hillcon will continue under its own name as an independent division. Next to the known Hillcon HCX700 piling rig, the delivery program will be extended with more models on a short term. All of the models can be adjusted to the specifics of each customer.
